Description

UMPhST organized the final C4H project conference entitled Obesity and Eating Disorders – A Medical and Humanities-base Approach – on December 7th, Unix Center Targu Mures.

The presenters were project team members from the local UMPhST team and the partner countries’ representatives. The event was meant to represent a multiplier event of all project results, addressing all target groups.

The conference was credited by the Romanian College of Physicians with 5 credits. Around 70 specialists, mostly residents, dietitians, nurses, stakeholders, and students participated in the three sections of the conference and expressed their satisfaction with the presentations and especially with the availability free of charge of such important content on learning about how to approach teenagers with obesity and eating disorders in an integrated, multidisciplinary team.

The conference had a large impact by being advertised on the UMPhST site and in the local online newspaper Punctul (see below)
