As a result of the exploitation activity a number of associated partners officially joined the project in order to contribute to the improvement of the project impact on their target groups and to ensure the project sustainability by continuing using the project deliverables in the next years.
The associate partners of the Connected for Health project are organizations interested in EU values. All associated partners share the project objectives and are willing to contribute to their achievement.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION

‘’Čigotica centre treats and educates obese children and adolescents. The centre performs diagnostic examination and treatments and its team consists of a pediatrician endocrinologist, a specialist in exercise therapy, a psychologist, sport teachers, a nutritionist and nurses. Patients are offered a diet and exercise plan according to their age, fitness and health condition. ‘’Čigotica’’ programs takes pride in its multidisciplinary approach to treating obese children. The aim of the treatment is a long-term/permanent reduction of body mass, health promotion followed by a change in lifestyle and adoption of healthy habits. Treatments at ‘’Čigotica’’ involves hypocaloric and balanced diet, physical activity, clinical and psychological support, as well as education (presentations, workshops, etc.).

HOW THE ORGANISATION WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF THE PROJECT RESULTS

Being focused on treating and educating obese children and adolescents, ‘’Čigotica’’ Centre for prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of obesity in children and adolescents is deeply involved in the field covered by C4H project. It can contribute to the project by exchange of experience and expertise during the project as well as after the project. It can also make a valuable contribution to the dissemination of the project by sharing the project information to its patients, partners, associates, etc. It has a wide network of contacts, so it can also participate by promoting the project and its results. Finally, it can help with sustainability of project results.
