Outcomes and Results:

The study performed by the researcher within the field of humanities points out that obesity stigma is perpetuated in the public space both at linguistic level (obesity as war, obesity as burden on the health care system, and obesity as epidemic) as well as at the level of employed imagery (cropped, decapitated images of people with obesity, lazy, eating unhealthy food). The audience showed interest, asked questions.
