Presentation of project and project objectives, target groups and results within The Scientific Conference with International Participation "NEW TRENDS IN HUMANITIES" – 5th Edition, Friday December 9th 2022 within Zilele UMFST 5-9 Dec 2022, online session, Microsoft Teams

Outcomes and Results:

The study performed by the researcher within the field of humanities points out that obesity stigma is perpetuated in the public space both at linguistic level (obesity as war, obesity as burden on the health care system, and obesity as epidemic) as well as at the level of employed imagery (cropped, decapitated images of people with obesity, lazy, eating unhealthy food). The audience showed interest, asked questions.
